The Senior Assisted Living Home will benefit senior citizens who can no longer live alone comfortably or who wish to reside in comfortable dwellings surrounded by caretakers and other senior citizens. An assisted home is not an alternative to a nursing home, but an intermediate level of long-term care. The Assisted Living Home will create a service plan for each individual resident upon admission. The service plan details the personalized services required by the resident and guaranteed by the facility. The plan is updated regularly to assure that the resident receives the appropriate care as his or her condition changes.

Caretakers and nurses will be available on staff 24/7. Visitors are welcome from 8 am to 8 pm everyday, and may stay overnight if proper sign-in procedures take place. Three meals a day will be provided: Breakfast, a large lunch, and a smaller dinner. Seniors may also enjoy an evening snack. Building construction will consist of steel frames, concrete floors and decks, metal studs and drywall for interior partitions, and glass for windows. The Assisted Living Home will cover an area of approximately 12,000 square feet. Cost per square foot of a public medical facility is approximately $250. Handicap accessibility is necessary. For residents, the average cost for an assisted living facility will fall between $60 and $70 per day. The cost will cover room, board, and meals. Some long-term insurance plans cover assisted living.

Features of the Senior Assisted Living Home will include, but are not limited to: Beautifully decorated and spacious private and semi-private rooms; numerous recreational activities specific to each level of care; delicious meals and alternate menus planned to meet individual preferences and dietary restrictions; pleasantly landscaped yards and an enclosed courtyard garden; ample parking; excellent staff to resident ratio; air-conditioned comfort; cheerful and roomy Therapy Room; spacious lounge with television, pool table, couches and chairs; therapeutic recreation, activities, and outings; beauty/barber shop services; personal in-house laundry services; chaplain on staff with in-house services; and holiday celebrations featuring entertainment and delicious food.
